Who controls this information

Steven Li, doing business as rift.auction, is the legal operator of this service and the controller of personal information that rift.auction processes. To ask a privacy question or make an access, correction, or deletion request, email [email protected]. rift.auction may ask for information reasonably needed to verify and complete a request.

Technical data

Our hosting providers process limited technical logs, including request time, IP address, browser information, errors, and security events, to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. These logs are normally retained for up to 30 days and may be kept longer when needed for security, abuse investigation, or a legal obligation.

Public listing data

rift.auction temporarily stores limited public eBay listing information to detect new listings, prevent duplicate alerts, and provide alert history. This information is normally retained for up to 90 days. rift.auction does not store eBay seller or buyer account information.

Functional cookie

rift.auction uses a first-party session cookie to operate and secure the site. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. You can block or delete it in your browser settings, but some features may not work.

Affiliate links and eBay privacy

rift.auction participates in the eBay Partner Network and may earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate links include information used to attribute referrals. When you follow an affiliate link, eBay and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in eBay's Privacy Notice.

Providers

rift.auction uses these categories of providers to operate the service:

• eBay and its image-hosting and affiliate providers for listing content, images, links, and attribution.
• Cloud hosting, content delivery, security, database, and logging providers for infrastructure and service protection.
• The public Discord platform for shared alert delivery and community access.

These providers process information for their operational purposes and under their own terms where they independently control it.

What rift.auction does not do

We do not sell personal data or use analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site behavioral tracking.

Third-party services

Listing images load from eBay's image host, which receives technical request data such as your IP address.

If you join our Discord community, Discord processes your account and platform data, and rift.auction moderators can see information you share there.
